What is involved?
This Work Group will be designed to meet the specific needs of the participants. The sessions will be a blended mix of face-to-face and online meetings with three days of direct Work Group workshop time.
Schools/colleges must be able to commit to the full academic year’s programme. This involves a total of three days of face-to-face (or equivalent) support across the academic year, as well as classroom and school-based activity.
Participants must also be supported by their school/college leadership to explore outcomes from the project with other colleagues in their department
Who can apply?
This programme is aimed at teachers of Core Maths in post-16 settings.
What is the cost?
This programme is fully funded by NW1 Maths Hub and the AMSP so is free to participating schools/colleges.

Meeting 1: In person, Tuesday 14th November
Meeting 2: Online, Wednesday 13th December
Meeting 3: In person, Tuesday 30th January 2024
Meeting 4: Online, Tuesday 5th March
Meeting 5: In person, Thursday 25th April
Meeting 6: Online, Monday 1st July
In person sessions will run from 1 – 3:30pm at Manchester University, exact venue to be confirmed.
Online sessions will run from 4:30 – 6pm via Zoom.
